Description and Requirements

job Overview: 

Lenovo’s Corporate Regulatory Compliance, Standards and ISO team, located in Lenovo’s US headquarters location, is presently hiring a Customer Regulatory Compliance Support Specialist to be a part of the Corporate Compliance team.  This position will be located in Mexico City.  This job will be responsible for providing regulatory compliance-based support for Lenovo’s customers and sales.  Supporting documents being requested are typically needed for products to clear international customs.

Job Responsibilities 

Respond to customer and sales regulatory compliance inquires coming to compliance@lenovo.com.

Upload regulatory documents to the compliance.lenovo.com site and make updates to the lenovo.com/compliance site as requested or needed.

Work with business unit teams to verify that compliance projects are completed and documented in a timely manner.   

 

Basic Job Requirements: 

 

• Prior work experience

• 4- 6 years experience working in one of the following areas:  regulatory compliance, certification, product engineering, testing lab

 

• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies (KSAC’s)

Familiarity with regulatory standards/certification

Strong research skills, being able to search multiple sources to find the solution

Strong written and verbal English skills.  Will be communicating directly with customers via email and working with various technical and sales contacts within the company

Strong customer experience focus

• Educational Requirements: BA or BS or commiserate experience. 

• Travel Requirements (expected % travel): < 5%.  Generally, travel is not expected for this role

 

Preferred Requirements: 

Experience with product compliance certification requirements such as EMC, safety or wireless

Familiarity with various types of ITC (information technology equipment)

Experience working with multiple stakeholders across global teams

Effectively working both independently  and as a team player; demonstrate autonomy over assigned work while working towards goals shared by the team

Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
