Description and Requirements

What You’ll Do:

We are hiring a high energy individual to join the Lenovo WW Storage team as a Technical Marketing Manager for enterprise flash and scale out data management solutions. This position will join an established team and lead definition and delivery of innovative and differentiated software solutions.  This position will work closely with technology partners and multifunctional Lenovo teams to drive innovation, evangelize customer value, and lead workload solution enablement for next generation flash and scale out solutions. This position is expected to drive new perspectives and thought leadership for Lenovo Storage.

The successful candidate will have enterprise storage and/or data management skills and experience in one of the following areas:  development, technical sales, support, and/or product management.  This position will work across teams to understand and deliver value around core initiatives including hybrid cloud data management, AIOPs, and scale out storage.   Success will require not only defining new solutions but evangelizing those solutions to Lenovo sellers, business partners and customers. 


Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop deep understanding of the storage business and customer requirements
  • Drive advanced functional requirements and improvements into product delivery
  • Define, develop, and document end to end data management solutions
  • Be a thought leader across functional and peer teams and alliance partners
  • Work with internal teams and industry partners to develop and deliver workload based solutions
  • Engage with customers and business partners to solution challenges
  • Develop technical enablement for Lenovo Sellers and Business Partners


Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in a technical/computer or marketing related field
  • At least 3 years of Storage or data management IT experience
  • Hands on experience managing /deploying enterprise storage
  • Proven analytical and business skills
  • Proven experience in a multi-cultural team environment
