Strategic Partner / Affiliate Marketing, Sr. Manager

What You’ll Do

The Strategic Partner/Affiliate Marketing Manager is responsible for developing the affiliate marketing strategy for Lenovo’s Global eCommerce team. In this role, you will own a key online acquisition channel and identify new and innovative ways to expand reach to meet our global eCommerce goals. The Strategic Partner/Affiliate Marketing Manager will be responsible for keeping abreast of trends and innovating affiliate and partner strategies. You will guide geo marketing teams to execute on your vision and define how we grow the impact of affiliates and other partners globally. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage his/her partner marketing skills to drive collaborations with our strategic alliance partners as well as identify growth opportunities with influencer and referral marketing. In this role, you will work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders including other marketing functions, sales, product, the alliance team as well as local teams in all regions.


  • Develop the Partner/Affiliate program to drive new customer acquisition globally at scale, including program strategy, project management, and leading geo teams to execute on the global vision
  • Develop and drive strategies for partner recruitment, activation, and engagement; collaborate with geo teams to onboard strategic partners
  • Manage the global relationship with the Impact affiliate agency/platform
  • Leverage cross-channel growth marketing tactics to drive impact and meet acquisition projections
  • Build global playbooks and internal processes, and drive best practice sharing, standardization, and operational efficiency across geos via a BMS
  • Track and measure program success, adjusting continuously to improve and maximize results
  • Collaborate with segment teams to understand key segment personas and their customer journeys to effectively reach and engage audiences as part of a full-funnel strategy
  • Stay current on evolving affiliate marketing and other demand generation tools, trends, tactics, and strategies, and educate the broader global organization on new opportunities
  • Monitor and evaluate cost/benefit of existing programs in real-time to adjust accordingly, alongside other digital marketing tactics
  • Guide target setting and investment to meet growth objectives
  • Define and assist in implementing tracking tools and measurement plans
  • Manage the alliance partner relationships to align strategic growth areas
  • Identify growth opportunities via influencer and referral marketing programs


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field
  • 8-10 years of online/digital or partner marketing with specific focus on affiliate management; influencer and/or referral marketing a plus
  • Working knowledge of the Impact Affiliate platform
  • Experience building global, scalable online growth channels that show clear results and impact
  • Experience with marketing stakeholder management and the use of data and insights to influence decision makers and drive business decisions
  • Experience supporting initiatives from strategy to execution and delivering results through critical thinking and creativity
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at both the strategic and tactical levels using problem-solving skills, a strategic mindset, and business acumen
  • Proficient in quantitative analysis and ability to translate analyses into actional insights
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with both internal and external customers
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail and outstanding time management skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a heavily matrixed environment
  • Ability to write, present, and sell in a clear, powerful, and compelling way; be a great storyteller
