Description and Requirements
The WorldWide Security Project Manager will help manage the creation and expansion of ThinkShield offerings across all regions and segments worldwide. This role requires a dynamic thought leader who is comfortable and effective at influencing across worldwide and regional leadership teams to ensure that business objectives and P&L targets are met. We are looking for an individual who can leverage their past business experience, operational analysis skills, and creative thinking to provide creative and thoughtful solutions. This position requires you to work efficiently and effectively with Software Development, Procurement, Operations, WW Marketing, Finance, and Lenovo technology partners to deliver leadership offerings on-time. You will have the opportunity to work with and influence a variety of worldwide stakeholders to drive transformational projects.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and manage project detail while simultaneously aligning the “big picture” project priorities with the priorities of the company and customer
- Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously
- Develop and maintain consistent communication and review cadence with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify project problems (and/or risks) in advance so that they do not create barriers to progress
- Achieve schedules/milestones, ensure accuracy and quality of business analysis, drive continuous process improvement
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in managing projects and working with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills and strong process orientation
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in security
- PMP certification
