Description and Requirements



The Lenovo Forward and Reverse Logistics Analyst role is a critical member of the North America Lenovo Services Supply Chain Operation supporting the Personal Systems Group (PCG) business group.

The Lenovo NA Logistics Analyst role is responsible for supporting forward and reverse logistics, distribution center logistics, depot logistics, and reverse logistics operations in the US and Canada as well as coordinating with the global logistics and reverse operation teams to ensure all elements of logistics, forward and reverse defective parts flow through full reverse operations as cost efficiently as possible.  Forward and reverse logistics knowledge; strong written and verbal communication skills; and very strong analytics and excel skills are required. 

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Forward and reverse operation data analysis. Microsoft Excel skills are highly valued.

• Monitoring and managing performance of third party logistics providers (that provide distribution center, and reverse operation capabilities) as well as logistics providers to ensure they are meeting or exceeding Forward and Reverse Logistics KPIs.

• Monitoring system discrepancy and error messages for reverse movements and take actions to correct discrepancies.

• Providing resolutions to third party logistics providers (that provide distribution center, and reverse operation capabilities) for part disposition within the reverse daily operations.

• Communicating directly with forward and reverse operation vendors.  In reverse, ensuring return materials authorizations are submitted and approved in a timely manner.

• Managing reverse credit note processing/booking through the Finance team.

• Managing forward good and reverse defective part flow and throughput.

• Weekly operation reviews with the distribution center and reverse operation centers to optimize performance.

• Working with vendors to ensure vendor accuracy for repair/credit.

• Provide support for forward and reverse logistics projects.

 

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above

• 3-5 years working experience on supply chain logistics operations or related positions.

• Outstanding analytical capabilities.  Strong excel skills.  Other skills including SAP, Power BI, and Microsoft Power Point are useful but not required.

• Excellent English language communication skills both spoken and written.

• Ability to work cross functionally in an matrix environment

• Detail orientated
