We are seeking a Supply Chain Enablement Professional, to work in our Cloud Service Provider, Supply Chain team.  In this role the successful candidate will help the Supply Chain organization within Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) deliver our strategic objectives for our Cloud clients. In addition, the person in this role will also be responsible for developing and influencing the strategic direction of the ISG supply chain, facilitating strategic execution, coordinating, and delivering key client related projects, preparing request for price (RFP) information, and managing cost.

The Supply Chain Enablement Leader will work closely with leaders across the end-to-end supply chain function (demand planning, supply and inventory management, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, quality, and customer fulfillment) to understand and support the requirements of the various Cloud client. This role is highly collaborative, self-starting, execution-focused, and forward looking with a focus on benchmarking best-of-breed across the industry. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable in complex, highly matrixed organizations, and a global fast-paced environment.

Successful candidates will possess deep analytical capabilities, strong communication skills, and robust experience with supply chain operations. Additionally, they will demonstrate the ability to collaborate with different functions, focus on achieving practical business impact and work well at all levels of the organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Establishing deep and engaging client facing relationships and management systems to enable client requirements to be met by the Lenovo supply chain
  • Developing detailed solutions to enable Lenovo’s supply chain operations to deliver client level supply chain solutions
  • Becoming the supply chain focal and engagement point for Sales and the Cloud Business Unit within the ISG Supply Chain, as it relates to assigned Cloud client accounts
  • Preparing RFP packages & management of end-to-end supply chain cost
  • This position will be based in the Morrisville, NC, USA

Position Requirements - Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, finance, or other such related fields
  • Business management and team management experiences in a global organization
  • 5+ years’ experience in the supply chain domain

Position Requirements - Preferred Requirements:

  • Master's Degree
  • Deep understanding in industry Supply Chain domains
  • Familiarity with supply chain future development, transformation & direction
  • Experience planning and conducting complex negotiations reaching lasting agreements and commitments
  • Experience analyzing complex/new situations, anticipating potential problems and future trends, assessing opportunities, impacts and risks
  • Good interpersonal, communication, presentation, and supervisory skills
