About Our Team

Our team is responsible for managing Supply Chain (Order to Cash, Manufacturing and Logistics) applications for the Mobile Business Group globally, with major focus on North America.  The team is a very dynamic team always willing to take up a new challenge every day.  We take pride in thinking outside the box and presenting fresh new ideas to the business team to enable new capabilities and aide in business expansion.  The team is also technically well rounded and up-to-date with the market and technology trends, and fully onboard with the path to Digital Transformation for Lenovo.

What You’ll Do

Interface with the business teams and understand their requirements and convert those requirements into deliverables

Knowledge of Manufacturing, Finance, OE processes. Detail knowledge of Supply Chain processes (warehousing, fulfillment, shipping, inventory etc) with emphasis on below

  • Inventory management
  • Carrier integrations (Fedex, UPS etc)
  • Fulfillment processes including labelling, picking/packing
  • Shipping processes including transportation and freight track and trace integrations
  • ASNs/Shipment data transmission to customers

Knowledge of EDI and AS2 integrations with vendors and customers for transactions like

  • Customer facing : PO, Acknowledgement, PO Changes, ASNs etc
  • Vendor facing : Item, BOM, inventory, Order, RMA etc
  • Knowledge of ANSI/EDIFACT EDI standards

General Integration knowledge a plus

  • MFT
  • Axway B2Bi
  • API development etc

Position Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of programming experience,
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree program
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing, Finance, OE processes. Detail knowledge of Supply Chain processes (warehousing, fulfillment, shipping, inventory etc).
  • Knowledge of EDI and AS2 integrations with vendors and customers for transactions like PO, Acknowledgement, PO Changes, ASNs, Item, BOM, inventory, Order, RMA
  • Knowledge of ANSI/EDIFACT EDI standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Functional knowledge of ERP environments, preferably SAP SD, MM, PP, FI, CO, GL modules
  • Innovative out of the box thinker
  • Knowledge of integration tools like MFT, MuleSoft, Axway B2Bi, API Development
