What You’ll Do
The Supply Chain Program Manager manages the overall Procurement process for the ISG NPI launch. This role will represent Procurement in the Offering Delivery Team and interlocks on cost, sourcing and supply management. This involves risk mitigation and strategies in the procurement arena. This role mainly works with internal customers, team members, and WW factory renounces. Internal cross-function interactions will mainly involve an exchange of information for analysis, decision-making, and strategy development.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Establish and track project plans.
- Manage risk, cost, and resources to meet targets.
- Ensure timely execution of projects with the right cost.
- Resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Interlock dependencies and execution plans with multiple Lenovo cross-functional teams, including Offering Delivery Team, Procurement, quality engineering, hardware platform and I/O development teams, Service, and Manufacturing
- Communicate schedules and plans to executive management.
- Manage project expenses and capital budget.
- Participate in resource planning.
- Manage open-source aspects of projects.
Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years in Manufacturing or Engineering background
- 3+ years’ experience in Project or Program Management
- Strong communications skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years in procurement/supply chain/product management in the server industry
- PMP certification
- Customer-centric attitude, attention to detail, and demonstrated creativity in problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently on projects, manage day-to-day assignments, and collaborate as a proactive team leader.
- Able to work in a fast-paced global environment and meet aggressive deadlines.
- Possess a positive attitude and high standards for creative executions.
- Strong multitasking and interpersonal skills
