Description and Requirements



About the Role:

We are looking for a Tax It Engineer with expertise in global tax systems to drive the development and optimization of our financial platforms. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance financial solutions that support our global tax management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end development of financial systems, from initial concept (0-1) to full-scale implementation.
  • Lead the SAP Finance module for Brazil´s Tax solution design and implementation.
  • Apply financial product management expertise to develop solutions aligned with global tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally with finance, engineering, and business teams to identify needs, define product roadmaps, and execute product strategies.
  • Document product requirements, workflows, and system architectures clearly and effectively.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance financial system efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: 3+ years experience on Financial roles with a foundational understanding of global tax concepts and methodologies. Prior experience building financial systems from scratch is essential.
  • Languages: Fluent in English with strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Chinese will be a plus.
  • Skills & Mindset:
    • Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
    • Ability to work under pressure and collaborate across departments effectively.
    • User-centric approach with a high level of ownership and accountability.
    • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience working in an internet company.
    • Familiarity with large-scale enterprise information system architectures.
    • Hands-on experience with SAP is a plus.
