LVR operates as a small start-up company within Lenovo and is given the autonomy to create the operational infrastructure needed to support this new business unit as we expand our capabilities into Europe. This newly formed team is made up of individuals with diverse backgrounds in product development, customer support, and supply chain. The ideal candidate for this role will have a good understanding of IT Enterprise equipment and be familiar with the test and functions of this equipment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential in this role, as the candidate will be interfacing with global team members, customers, and vendors.
Candidates for this role will need to be accustomed to working in a fast paced, “start-up company” environment in which they will need to perform multiple duties beyond the scope of their role as defined. Candidates will need to be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently to define and close workstreams with urgency.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Hardware testing, across some of Enterprise & Client/Office, Server, Storage and Networking.
- Dealing with technical and business problems encountered with products and processes, root causing and correcting them.
- Work closely with customers and various internal/ external teams.

Position Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or a related discipline required or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Hardware Test, IT or related technical role.
- Fluent English, Hungarian is a plus.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and results driven – self-starter with a sense of urgency, capable of working in a multi-tasking environment and shifting focus appropriately.
- Ability to take responsibility for new tasks and deliver results independently with minimal intervention required.
- Good interpersonal and team skills along with a customer focused attitude – capable of leading or working as an integral part of a team and delivering on commitments made.
- Strong communication skills, written & verbal – need to be able to transfer knowledge clearly and effectively to multiple audiences.
