Description and Requirements

Would you like to become a trusted advisor to our enterprise clients? Can you use your technical expertise to consult & advise? 

You will become a member of our Infrastructure Solutions Group and you will collaborate with our partners to achieve client satisfaction. You will report to our TAM Senior Manager based in Glasgow. 

You will consult the client on the post-sales life-cycle management for complex data center technologies regarding our storage solutions. Within the role, you will be responsible for working with the customer to help with diagnosing, managing and/or handling all aspects of issues arising, including Firmware and Driver updates, as well as HW part replacement recommendations. 

What else is waiting for you in this role? 
Provide recommendations regarding service contracts and service levels to achieve the client’s business objectives
Quality reporting of technical issues, cases, and repair actions to both Lenovo and the Customer teams
You will serve as an advocate for Lenovo within the account and an advocate for the customer within Lenovo
Document and maintain DM Configuration and establish alerting and monitoring procedures in partnership with the customer
Monitoring cases within Lenovo support structure on behalf of the customer - These cases will include L1/L2 case for parts and/or SSR dispatch
Gather and analyze all requisite logs, provide support and product information to support Action Plans
Work with our customer to establish Maintenance Window for upgrades, repair actions or other maintenance. Establish procedures for workload monitoring and balancing for optimal performance and stability.

What do we expect from you? 
5-7 years’ experience supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining NetApp DM Storage solutions in a production environment
Working knowledge of Open Systems storage system technologies (Block, File(NFS/CIFS) 
Object base storage architectures, storage protocols/standards (iSCSI, SAS, SCSI, Fibre Channel, Infiniband, FCoE, RoCE, iWarp, RDMA, NVMe) 
Advanced functions (external virtualization, data compression, mirroring, data dedup), RAID technologies, and Erasure Coding
Working knowledge of operating systems that may exist in an Open Systems Environment (AIX, Solaris, SUSE, Debian, COS). 
High / Good level of experience with the following : deploying new ONTAP systems; Understanding of OFFTAP products; NetApp/Lenovo DM Support/Tuning; use of SAS/FC/Network Analyzers/UART;Window Server; RHEL; VMware
Excellent Communication, interpersonal skills to work directly with the customer, Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
Fluent English skills, any additional language is a plus, especially if you speak French
Previous experience in a customer facing role

Note valid for Slovakia only: Base gross monthly salary from 2100 EUR, depending on experience + variable part. For the rest of the countries, the salary details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
