Description and Requirements

The Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group Technical Account Manager (TAM) serves as a trusted advisor to clients and acts as a single point of contact for service issues, ensuring responsiveness and timely resolution.

The TAM develops and maintains an excellent rapport with key client contacts, and works with existing processes to improve efficiency, and quality and reduce the cost-of-service delivery.

They must be comfortable dealing with all levels of client representatives and Sales and Services leadership within Lenovo and be an active advocate for the client’s service needs within Lenovo.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Maximizing the value of the client’s investment in Lenovo products and services, ensuring effective ownership, communication, coordination
  • Facilitation of service activities between the client and support teams,
  • Analyzing client inventory, and leading complex service delivery processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in IT, Customer Service, Field Tech, or Account Management, and a general understanding of and technical competence in Data Center technologies, specifically storage solutions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of hardware procedures, networking knowledge, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of protocols (NFS, SMB/CIFS, Block, Object) how they work, and how they are used in different solutions. 
  • Understanding solutions and how to integrate storage into the customer environment.
  • Experience with ONTAP deployment and ONTAP specific knowledge in administration or troubleshooting preferred.

This position is located in Bentonville AR and requires in person presence at customer site.
