Position Description:

As part of the Motorola/Lenovo Brazil R&D team you will be responsible for leading the technical activities for the development and operation of complex software services.

In this role you will work closely with third party software suppliers and the Motorola and Lenovo business teams to develop and operate innovative software solutions and services.

We're looking for a driven individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills that has experience leading development projects.

Scope of responsibilities:

· Take up the technical responsibility for the entire software service.
· Accountable for ensuring systems are properly architected, designed, monitored, supported, and maintained.
· Identify and mitigate risks, including security, availability, and scalability risks.
· Interface with external development teams to drive development activities and solve issues.
· Work closely with software suppliers and business team to define a technical roadmap for the solutions.

Position Requirements:

· 5+ years of experience in software development as a technical leader
· Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
· Experience in software development for Client-Server systems
· Strong Leadership skill
· Excellent communication skills
· Fluency in English and Portuguese languages

Preferred Qualifications:

· Knowledge of Cloud Computing: Amazon Web Services and/or Google Cloud Platform
· Knowledge of Mobile Development: Android and/or iOS
· Knowledge of Desktop Development: Windows and/or Linux.
· Knowledge of Web Fullstack: Java, NodeJS, APIs REST, HTML, CSS, Javascript and Angular;
· Fluency in Spanish
