Description and Requirements

This is a hybrid geography role in Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) supporting the Lenovo-VMware alliance marketing relationship. 

This hybrid role is responsible for the geo’s strategic B2B marketing plan with VMware and will collaborate with various functional and territory/regional marketing peers to execute the marketing plan.  The role will also serve as the geo technical marketing SME on VMware in order to adapt WW-delivered marketing content for local markets.
This role also has responsibility for collaborating with the geo’s external Sales Learning partners to coordinate event logistics for the different types of sales enablement events/experiences.

For this role, we are seeking a champion who also meets the following requirements:

  • proven technical marketing aptitude in the VMware portfolio
  • strong project management skills for managing cross-functional responsibilities  
  • strong budget management skills for the VMware geo investment for joint marketing and sales enablement
  • proven ability to drive marketing strategy to deliver the Geo’s joint marketing execution plan
  • ability to collaborate and support Geo counterparts across multiple functions (i.e. Marketing, Sales) to assist with marketing execution
  • ability to coordinate sales enablement event logistics across multiple routes/channels and markets
  • ability to support cross-functional & cross-cultural initiatives across multiple time zones

To be successful in the role, the person will also:

  • Lead the geo Marketing and Sales Learning relationship with VMware  
  • Achieve geo KPIs for Marketing and Sales Learning (ex. MQL, Marketing Pipeline, Win Revenue, Sales Learning KPIs, etc.)
  • Provide quarterly geo insights and trends to the WW Alliance Marketing & Sales Learning counterparts
  • Optional:   Lead engagement with external agencies, when necessary
  • Optional:   Lead effective meetings/meeting management.
  • Optional:   Excel in communicating and presenting to senior-level executives, as well as creating PowerPoint presentations.
  • Optional:  Own multiple cross-functional GTM projects and associated project plans
