Description and Requirements
–Work with product manager /marketing team/ customer on concept of new product and the new technologies to be deployed.
–Lead R&D teams to implement the product development from the feasibility of new product concept to product launch.
–Develop and execute project schedule, ownership and management of project deliverables and understand and manage project scope to deliver within the time / cost restraint. Performs regular Lessons Learned with the team to ensure project and process improvements are captured from project kick off to Launch.
–Development NRE estimation, consider overall project development expense include material expense and preparation.
–Manage regular interlock meeting with internal and external(customer) to review the project development status (Schedule, issues & solutions, risk management, material preparation…), report the project progress to top management.
–Participate cross function meeting among engineering/ manufacture/quality teams to monitor design related issues, and organize team to resolve critical issues, or mitigation plan of any uncertainties.
–Coordinate R&D, sourcing, sales, manufacture on design changes or EC implementation review which might impact material readiness and project quotation.
–Understand engineering issue reporting, debugging progress to think ahead of project delivery impact, material preparation risk, project budget, and product cost
