Description and Requirements



At Lenovo we are looking for our new Technology Consultant:

What You will do:
  • Design, implement, and manage platform automation using Ansible.
  • Integrate REST APIs to enhance platform functionality.
  • Troubleshoot automation scripts in Python to improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for application deployment and scaling.
  • Monitor and maintain Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Configure and manage virtual machines using VMware. Implement and manage cloud platforms based on VMware technology (optional).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues, ensuring seamless connectivity and security.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of applications in a multi-tenancy environment.

What we expect from You:

  • Proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
  • Strong experience with Docker for containerization. Good programming skills in Python.
  • Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
  • Experience with REST API integration or development. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with VMware for virtualization. Expertise in Linux system administration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, VMware Hybrid Cloud, or VMware Cloud on AWS (optional).
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus or ARA.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
