Description and Requirements

Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group, Telco segment, is looking for an innovative Product Marketing Manager to be responsible for the creation of content and marketing deliverables designed to articulate the unique value of our Telco offerings to our customers, internal sellers, and in-region marketing colleagues.

As the Worldwide Telco Marketing Specialist, you will work with the Corporate Marketing team to drive the value proposition and messaging strategies. You will support the evolution from selling products to selling Telco solutions. You will be responsible for turning a defined and articulated strategy into measurable marketing execution.

This position supports a fast-paced and dynamic part of our business, and will require an individual who is a self-starter, resourceful, self-motivated, and willing to adapt to changing requirements when needed.

In this role you'll be reporting to the Worldwide Telco Business Unit.


What you’ll do / role responsibilities:

  • Support and own the creation of Telco assets highlighting the value proposition and messaging construct strategies for both existing and acquisition customers.
  • Plan, develop, create, and execute marketing campaigns and materials about technical topics or for an audience comprised of technical users.
  • These materials may include sales sheets, spec sheets, demonstration videos, case studies, and other content formats
  • Collaborate with internal resources and manage external agencies to create effective worldwide content and assets to serve Telco customers, internal sales teams, and marketeers.
  • Maintain Telco Marketing catalogue, uploads, publishing, and activation of content assets on worldwide platforms (AEM, HighSpot, PPT Playbook), and conduct regular asset management and content audits.
  • Engage and collaborate with cross-functional Business Groups, where required, to drive consistency, unification, and awareness of the Telco Messaging, narrative, and content assets.
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement functions to articulate a consistent sales narrative and corresponding marketing message toolkit for worldwide sales team.


Position requirements:

  • At least 5 years of proven, successful marketing experience, preferably in Telecom with experience marketing Telco solutions offerings. 
  • Previous Global marketing experience
  • Successful B2B Marketing expertise demonstrated through a broad portfolio of samples (content marketing, sales enablement etc.), with understanding of messaging engagement across the full buyer lifecycle.
  • You must have the ability to work cross-functionally, unifying, and motivating colleagues across different teams and able to operate in a complex matrix and silo environment.
  • Possess strong project management and administrative skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects, programs, objectives, and stakeholder groups at all levels.
  • Be at ease in fluid, rapidly changing business environments with high degrees of ambiguity and the ability to shift strategies and tactics when required.
  • Proven proficiency in PowerPoint with advanced knowledge and skills.
  • Be a quick and critical thinker with the ability to listen, understand and interpret needs to distil complex concepts.
  • Hold demonstrative skills in discerning essential messaging points with the acumen to convert to storylines and tactics that will resonate.
  • Be a logical detail-oriented individual with attention to detail.
  • Have sensibility for design and brand adherence.
  • Be able to quickly learn and understand new concepts, tools, and markets.
  • Be creative and innovative, and someone who is never willing to settle for the status quo.

The base salary range for this position in California, Colorado, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Washington, is $140,000 - $170,000.  Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on
