You are a self–motivated individual with a proven track record in telco or service provider of delivering results in architecture, design, software, technology, product management or consulting. We want individuals that demonstrate the ability to think strategically about business, create technical definitions around customer objectives in complex situations, develop solution strategies, motivate, and mobilize resources, as well as deliver results. An outstanding telco portfolio manager should be able to make overall telco architecture, make design for different telco components and key client components, explain complex problems to management in layman’s terms, and build strong presentations to communicate with several stakeholders about regular updates and developments in the assigned projects or engagements.

The telco product manager responsibilities include making the technical architecture and design based on the requirements, customer engagements, gathering requirements and functional specifications, and assessing the current software systems in place to identify synergies, solutions, areas in need of improvement, and overseeing incubation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for telco defining offer roadmap to develop capabilities required for the transformation of the Lenovo HW/SW portfolio

  • Drive strategic telco product through presentations across organizations providing clarity in decisions. Own Telco product roadmap and define long-term product technical evolution.

  • Work closely with product units, presales, and services architects/engineers to develop and build customized solutions; provide feedback when gaps in our portfolio are identified

  • Technical champion that gathers virtual team to respond to customer RFI/RFP/RFQ 

  • Work across all functional areas, gathering inputs, prioritize features and specifications, to work with portfolio manager to define the right product

  • Conduct research as well as competitive analysis, delivering client presentations, preparing technical proposal

  • Monitor the delivery process by working collaboratively with supply & services organizations to address all issues that may affect client satisfaction and Lenovo financial objectives

Position Requirements:

  • Technical track record and the ability to build relationships with customers on all levels

  • At least 10 years of telco experience, working with large enterprise or global accounts

  • Strong understanding Telco industry trends and how to successfully position Lenovo solutions, products and services

  • High self-motivation and action orientation with experience to successfully work in a cross functional team

  • Ability to guide virtual development teams to achieve / exceed best in class outcomes / performances
