Description and Requirements

Telecommunications – Contact Center IT Engineer - Intern

The Telecommunications – Contact Center IT Engineer – Intern position will work directly within the Lenovo Online organization, embarking on a contact center channel strategy to deliver intelligent self-service, low-cost contact center strategies, sales & services upsell opportunities, and improve world class customer experiences. The Online Organization combines both business transformation and IT delivery into a single, E2E channel strategy.  Work as part of diverse & inclusive, international, and modern Tech company. 

We are looking for all of this and a dynamic, positive, and hungry-for-more internship; join our Telecommunications Contact Center IT team supporting Lenovo’s Global Business teams.

  • Well organized - working with internal employees’, able to document processes, taking care of customer journey design flows and be very well organized & details oriented,

  • Creative and builds our IT, Digital Transformation and Brand internally
  • Define and document the detailed business solution designs for contact center solutions.
  • Partner with global business teams on creation and execution of User Acceptance Testing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate generation of all reports, consistency, and standardization amongst the various types of reports and databases.
  • Provide postproduction support with operation team.

Qualifications:

  • In the process of obtaining a BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering
  • Experience with interpreting technical manuals and schematic designs
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiarity with PC hardware
  • English - professional written and verbal communication.

  • Curiosity to learn, ask questions, and ability to act proactively on tasks
  • Interpersonal communication skills 
  • Team player with interest in IT and technology
  • Detail oriented and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to analyze data with a drive for problem-solving
  • Strong technical skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)


Salary 

The base salary range for this position is $31,200 - $66,560/hr.
