Description and Requirements


The team (LeSI) develops turn-key, config-to-order solutions for the scale-out/parallel processing market. Our customers include governments, academia, the oil and gas industry, financial industry, etc.  Many of our installations are on the Top 500 Supercomputer list. 


We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter with strong technical skills in both hardware and software, and the ability and perseverance to solve complex problems. This individual will join our team to develop, validate and release three to five LeSI solutions per year, working closely with members of the extended, global ISG organization.   He/she will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including but not limited to: cluster software setup, installation and configuration; testcase execution, defect reporting, triage and resolution; execute required SSRB scans and work with architect, vendors and SSRB team to resolve any issues; development of scripts to automate processes.


Position Requirements:

  • B.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Computer architecture knowledge (Memory hierarchy, processors, GPUs, etc.).
  • Excellent written and oral communications and teaming skills
  • Knowledge of cluster management, and Linux system and networking administration
  • Excellent hardware and software debugging skills
  • Development and test validation (including defect triage, management and resolution) experience
  • Ability to install and configure cluster software (applications, OS, drivers and firmware)
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work completely self-directed once ramped up. 


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using servers, storage, and networking products.
  • Experience in manual/ automated testing.
  • Experience with Linux and Shell Scripts.
  • Knowledge/understanding of layer 2/3 networking fundamentals and configuration of Ethernet, Infiniband and/or OmniPath switches.
  • Knowledge/understanding IPMI and/or redfish.
