About Our Team

We are hiring a Thermal SME to work in Lenovo’s Cloud Service Provider Group (CSP). 

CSP is a fast-paced customer-centric organization that adapts to changing market demands to serve customer needs. We are looking for an individual with an understanding of current and future thermal design trends that will develop thermal solutions for rack mounted server or storage products.

We're the only company with true end-to-end capabilities for even the most unique solution. Our CSP solutions are designed, built and deployed worldwide - all in-house.


What You'll Do

As part of the Server/Storage Architecture team, you will be responsible for:

• Understanding of current and future thermal design trends

• Understanding and modeling the thermal properties of new concepts and designs in Flowtherm

• Developing thermal specifications for suppliers

• Working with suppliers and Lenovo development team on the execution/development of thermal designs

• Interlocking with Lenovo Global Supply chain to optimize design cost

• Providing on-going advice & consult with Lenovo development team on technical issue resolution

•. Direct customer engagement


Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering 

• 10+ years’ Thermal design experience

• Experience with Server/Storage Systems and their components

• Experience with Flotherm is required and the use of thermal design tools including PTC Creo, Pro/E, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree is a plus

• Strong communication skills

• Experience working/interacting with multi-national and cross-functional teams

• Fluent in using Microsoft Office applications (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Strong problem solving and organizational skills
