The Lenovo Solution team is seeking a highly motivated candidate with technical knowledge of software architecture and application frameworks. The candidate will be a member of a global team performing qualification, test & validation on Hyperconverged appliances based on general purpose x86 servers.
Your knowledge in computer systems and software, complemented by troubleshooting and problem analysis skills will be key in this role. Troubleshooting work means you will engage with engineers from our internal teams, partners, and vendors, so being able to understand and articulate problems, action plans and provide feedback in writing or verbally is something you will make good use of.
You will be working with established products from Lenovo’s portfolio where customers expect stability and reliability, but you will also work with the latest hardware and software for cloud, edge, and AI computing, ensuring customers get the most out of Lenovo solutions in the field.

In this position, you will be:
• Developing Python Modules and APIs
• Working in NodeJS
• Shaping and maintaining automation development environment (Nodejs, Python libs, servers, virtual machines, databases)
• Follow a continuous “everything” approach (development, testing integration and deployment)
Apply if you have:
• Problem solving and solution-oriented thinking.
• Good knowledge of Python programming (minimum 2 years of commercial experience)
• Good knowledge of Nodejs
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Familiar with Linux/Unix
• Good English speaking and writing skills
Preferred:
• Previous experience with Django/Flask Framework
• Experience with a source code control system, GIT is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
• IT Solutions experience
Good to have:
• Some frontend development experience
• Experience with virtualization solutions
