Description and Requirements

The Transition Solution Review Manager will be responsible for developing transition artifacts to support pre-sales initiatives across a mix of Device as a Service (DaaS) and Managed Services opportunities. This role will work closely with sales and delivery to support the sales pipeline as transition and transformation expert. The candidate should have experience building a transition plan and cost model to support technology solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Review proposed delivery model and technical solution to build contract, project planning and cost model artifacts to support the transition and transformation efforts
  • Work with other solution architects to review feasibility of the solution elements to identify and document scope, assumptions, risks, issues to transition and delivery
  • Manage the solution handover from solutioning and sales to the transition and delivery teams
  • Support Sales in customer meetings as a transition and transformation subject matter expert
  • Develop and transition pre-sales transition deliverables including presentations, contract, cost models, process flows and project plans
  • Use customer details, industry knowledge and market conditions to build transition plans and deliverables
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationship with vendors and external/internal customers

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience architecting and implementing transition and transformation solutions
  • 10+ years of experience in IT outsourcing and/or Managed Services
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline with an information technology focus (Master’s degree highly desirable)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience acting as the liaison between sales and delivery with communication skills to speak appropriately to both parties (translating technology to the business and vice versa)
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing a complex customer business problem and developing a future state recommendation with a plan to deliver
  • Ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives
  • Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, time management, and solution-oriented skills
  • Highly developed skills in using MS Office Suite applications including: Project, Visio, Excel
  • Strong negotiation, data analytics, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of Transition Management principles, procedures and best practices
  • Strong customer focus and ability to manage customer expectations
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (no travel during COVID)

This position has the ability to work fully remote in the EST or CST time zone. If the selected candidate is located in Raleigh, NC this will be a hybrid opportunity working from home and office each week.




The base salary range for this position in California, Colorado, New York City, Nevada and Washington, is $113,000 - $150,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com
