This opportunity is 100% remote - no relocation required - with a location focus on Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Successful candidate will have a background selling aaS as a main component of their portfolio and will participate in high-level meetings with major accounts at our Wall Street hub in NY.

The TruScale Sales Executive will be responsible for selling a best-in-class Private Cloud consumption-based offering. You will be responsible for driving rapid business in NA. You will be expected to attain sales, revenue, and margin goals through driving new business and evangelizing Lenovo’s ever-expanding portfolio of TruScale solutions. Demonstrate the ability to take initiative and provide leadership in a growing business. Candidate needs to have a successful track record of selling and positioning Cloud as a Service solutions. You will champion the innovative power of our TruScale suite of solutions to empower companies to grow and achieve their business outcomes.
You will learn to understand Lenovo’s portfolio of award-winning solutions and develop strategies to help new and existing enterprise customers find and implement the best solutions for their unique business needs. In this role, the TruScale Sales Executive will be expected to drive their own sales calls, while also attending joint calls with sales team members at all levels of the customer organization.
This is a client facing sales role requiring market and industry experience, the ability to identify, cultivate, and close net new business, and expertise working large deals at the C level. We are looking for a hunter & closer with a successful and proven track record to take their career, and the territory, to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and close new large enterprise opportunities within the territory across multiple verticals
- Achieve revenue and profitability objectives for Lenovo while driving growth across the TruScale solution offerings
- Develop, implement, and execute an effective sales strategy to achieve sales goals
- Develop C level relationships and serve as a trusted consultant to customers
- Understand and adapt to Lenovo’s ongoing product and services developments
- Lead a cross-functional team within the company to keep deals moving through the funnel
- Ensure that our customers receive world-class sales and customer service
- Effectively and consistently use reporting tools to track key sales metrics and consistently meet those metrics
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent professional work experience
- Successful enterprise (data center) technology and services sales experience
- Private cloud solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience selling a fully managed consumption-based infrastructure model combining Services with HW and SW into a single, configurable solution with predictable or variable & affordable periodic fees to the customer.
- Experience selling as-a-Services aaS solutions - IaaS, DaaS, SaaS
- Experience selling Cloud & Private Cloud solutions - Private Cloud, On-Prem, Hybrid
- Experience with OPEX or lease model
- Experience with major accounts and complex deals requiring multiple teams to join as overlays.
- VM's metered via cloud or buffer measured on regular basis
- Experience selling Infrastructure Data Center solutions
- Proven ability to develop strategies to penetrate and sell to large companies
- 5+ years of successful enterprise (data center) technology and services sales experience
