Description and Requirements

Can you help us solve complex challenges? 
Do you enjoy everyday communication with the customers?  
In this role, you will become the evangelist for our solutions and map our portfolio to our clients’ strategies. You will provide thought leadership and be the expert on industry trends to your clients and other Lenovo sales teams. You will work with the most senior decision-makers in our strategic accounts and our most senior internal stakeholders. You will ensure the appropriate portfolio of our products, services and software is architected to solve the complex business challenges and close sales opportunities. 

You will join our MEA Commercial team and report to our Commercial Segment Director. The location of this role is flexible around GCC, KSA and RSA; however, ideally based in Dubai, so you are close to major customers.

What tasks are waiting for you in this role? 
Work closely with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, collaborate on sales strategy, process, and level of presales engagement to prioritise time, activities and investments of the most impactful revenue-generating opportunities. 
Motivate and inspire the teams by providing a vision, empowering functional specialists, encouraging creativity, clearly communicating expectations, and providing support for team and client success. 
Lead and shape the sales enablement process for the creation of customer-specific solutions through working closely with dedicated business development managers for devices, services and the broader sales team. 
Ensure the quality of the presales deliverables (presentation, demonstrations, etc.) and align resources to opportunity activities and establish due dates and milestones to ensure successful customer deliverables. 
Demonstrate value to customers of a solution approach with a clear articulation of ROI and business case. 
Manage in conjunction with the Account Executive the execution and delivery of best outcome solution/s for the customer. 
Champion the customer by helping to educate the presales team on customer situations, help them focus on what needs to be done and prescribes the optimal solution to deliver desired outcomes. 
Drive consistent presales processes, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 opportunity management, dry-runs and discovery sessions and other tools to ensure superior evaluations, product demos and presentations. 
Strategic account pipeline consolidation and coordination with Service solution sales team, PLM team and TS on valid solution building.  

What do we expect from you? 
6+ Years of experience working within the technology industry in a sales/architect role solving technology challenges, with 1-2 years of people management experience being a plus but not mandatory. 
Strong knowledge of Lenovo’s portfolio, competitive solutions, and how they relate to customer requirements. 
Critical thinking to identify value propositions for clients. 
Strong verbal and written communication skills to simplify and explain complex problems with an ability to execute. 
Consultative and collaborative mindset - your engagement with clients will lead to new and innovative solutions. 
Multi-Country experience within MEA is mandatory. Strong business and market knowledge required.
