Description and Requirements




The User Experience Interaction Designer will; 

  • Identify user insights and support new initiatives to deliver industry-leading user experiences
  • Understand user needs and discover other motivating factors to help teams translate them into concepts, products, and solutions
  • Utilize ideation and storytelling skills to effectively communicate insights and ideas
  • Design across various products and platforms (PC, mobile, web, Android, iOS, etc.)
  • Create low and high-fidelity wireframes, user flows, and functional prototypes and help drive information architecture, workflows, task flows, and other design methodologies
  • Support usability studies on prototypes and existing designs during various phases of concept and product development. Translate study results into actionable design recommendations and product requirements.
  • Help plan and execute iterative user research activities spanning a broad set of products (hardware and software) and including but not limited to generative work (e.g. fieldwork, ethnography) and evaluative work (e.g. usability studies, concept evaluations, benchmarking, heuristic evaluations).
  • Educate others outside the User Experience Design team on UX design methodologies and advocate the benefits of good UX design. Think creatively and strategically about the end-to-end customer experience and encourage a designed way of thinking in the group.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional project team members and business peers to propose the best experience for our end users.
  • Deliver and maintain design specifications, pattern libraries, and other design documents that will be used as guidance for cross-functional team members.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms with colleagues, management, and external parties both in the U.S. and other countries.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 2+ years of professional experience in user experience (UX), product design, user interface design (UI), interaction design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
  • Mastery of fundamental visual and interactive design disciplines and fluency of best practices for the user-centered design process, user experience principles, and techniques
  • Strong eye for layout, color, iconography, and typography
  • Experience working directly with other user experience, research, and design professionals
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to be pragmatic and keep the "big picture" in mind
  • Self-motivated and execution-orientated with the ability to work independently as well as take direction within established strategic and business guidelines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Strong presentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Experience working at a fast-paced technology or startup organization with technologies such as PCs, AR/VR, IoT, Collaboration, AI/ML, Voice UX, etc.
  • Degree in user experience, interaction design, visual design or equivalent
  • Good understanding of the software development process and how design and user research fit in
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating breadth and depth in UX, UI, interaction design, visual design, conceptual thinking, creative problem solving, and impressive deliverables
  • Experience in designing complex applications that are rich in interaction
  • Familiarity and experience executing a user-centered design (UCD) or another design framework to drive products through a development process
  • Expert in design and collaboration tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, InVision, Teams, Miro, etc.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience designing animations and interactions
  • UX design experience in non-US markets
