Description and Requirements

This position is part project manager, part strategist, and part evangelist. This individual will be responsible for generating and managing a portfolio of Optimization, Personalization, and A/B testing strategy for Lenovo’s global eCommerce sites. This individual will work with a diverse group of business stakeholders, user experience project managers & designers, developers, analysts, and QA engineers to align testing & personalization efforts with worldwide business goals. The ideal candidate must be a strong leader and collaborator, demonstrating strong organization and decision-making while also bringing people along in a journey to get work done.

Job responsibilities 

• Serve as project manager for testing, optimization & personalization team – driving global data-informed personalization campaigns aligned with industry best practices and global business targets.
• Partner with UX, merchandising, marketing, and other stakeholders in developing tests and personalized experiences that optimize the customer decision journey.
• Collaborate closely within the Optimization team with other project managers, designers, developers, QA, and analysts to ensure that tests are delivered as per requirements and carefully evaluated to extract business-critical learnings
• Comfortable with executive Presentations, thought leadership, and effective and proactive communication across multiple business units and geographies in a highly matrix environment.
• A high emotional quotient and excellent communication skills are crucial since this position will work with multiple global cross-functional and external teams. 
• Ability to drive adherence to deadlines with many different teams.
 

User Experience Background
Required
• 3+ years of professional experience in testing and optimization and/or technically-oriented project management
• Understanding of effective eCommerce user experience. 
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment where innovation is expected.

Preferred

• Agency and/or experience working on large eCommerce websites is highly desirable.
• Experience with User Experience design is a plus
• Experience with digital analytics is a plus


Technical experience
Required
• 3+ years of experience with A/B testing tools
• Knowledge segmentation, 1:1 Behavioral Targeting, A/B, and multivariate (MVT) testing
• Experience with Agile development and ceremonies, such as Sprints, Scrum, and Retrospectives

Preferred
• Adobe Target experience is a plus. Experience with personalization platforms, digital analytics tools, and design tools a plus



Project Management
Required
• Experience managing a project backlog and working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
• Strong project management and organizational skills to manage projects with different deadlines 
• Ability to work on several projects simultaneously with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks independently 
• Ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple non-technical way
• Fine attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate end-results

Preferred 
• Strong self-initiative with the ability to identify areas of improvement with little direction
• Motivation to add value through collaboration with a small team, and partnering with others, with a solid client service mentality


Problem Solving/Analytical Thinking
Required
• Excellent problem-solving skills and innovative thinking are required to maximize results and productivity
• Ability to easily conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
• Demonstrated commitment to continued learning & growth of professional skills


Education
Required
• Bachelors in Information Architecture, Human-Computer Interaction, Marketing, Business, Economics, or any STEM-related fields.

Preferred 

• MS/ MBA advanced degrees preferred.
