Description and Requirements
The VMware Sales Specialist in Lenovo ISG for Global Accounts is responsible for driving the sales of VMware-based solutions to Lenovo Global Accounts. That includes the sale of VMware licenses, SDI solutions and ELA engagements. Through direct conversation with the Global Accounts, the VMware Sales Specialist will increase sales of VMware products and solutions either direct or through Lenovo's channel partners. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team, channel partners, and customers to identify business opportunities and provide solutions that meet their needs. You will report to Sales Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies that will drive the growth of VMware sales incl Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) sales for Lenovo's global accounts
- Work closely with Lenovo's sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop customized solutions that meet the unique needs of each customer
- Build strong relationships with customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers, highlighting the features and benefits of Lenovo's VMware solutions
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback on product features and enhancements based on customer feedback
- Track and report on sales activities and progress towards goals
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on VMware solutions and Enterprise License Agreements (ELAs)
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong relationships with customers
- Strong understanding of the VMware market and competitive landscape
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
