We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Video System Development Leader to join our team and play a critical role in shaping the future of our product portfolio. As the Video System Development Leader, you will be responsible for designing the system architecture, developing comprehensive solutions, and leading the implementation of video conferencing products. Responsibilities:
- Lead the team to review and analyze the Market Requirements Document to fully understand the customer needs and product goals.
- Design robust and scalable video system architectures that align with the MRD and overall product strategy.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply them to improve our video conferencing solutions.
- Review and manage the Video technology roadmap by quarter
- Gather customer feedback, develop optimized solutions to improve user experience, and enhance the technical capabilities of the team to deliver increasingly competitive products and features
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years experience in camera architecture, including hardware platforms and embedded software.
- Proficient in Python, C, and C++ with solid software design skills and project development experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in end-to-end video stream pipelines for video conferencing systems.
- Experienced in IQ tuning and video algorithms, including 3A and HDR.
- Knowledgeable in UVC/Ethernet camera transmission protocols and video codec technologies.
- Background in AI model training with familiarity in mainstream deep learning architectures.
- Experienced with ISP NPU technology, model deployment processes, and scenario algorithms.
- Forward-thinking with a strong understanding of the computer vision industry.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; positive, results-oriented, and innovative, with a strong focus on efficiency and responsibility.
This position will be based in our North America Headquarters in Raleigh, NC. Our office has transitioned to a hybrid work environment supporting 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. To be considered, candidates need to be local to Raleigh or willing to relocate on their own.
