Description and Requirements

This is a key role within AP Visual Team aiming to grow business in Malaysia & Singapore.

  • The successful candidate will plan, execute and grow our Visuals business, achieving volume, revenue and margin targets in Consumer and Commercial segments.
  • The BDM along with respective Segment leads will lead in engagement with our largest retail partners, commercial resellers and enterprise customers.
  • The BDM will be responsible channel coverage expansion. Business Planning and Management
  • You will be responsible for analyzing the MY & SG markets and for building a product plan with country 4P teams.
  • You will ensure that this plan achieves the market breadth that our share goals require
  • Your plan will require you to:
    • Deliver on key metrics execution (Units/ Rev/GP/WOS/Aged).
    • Align with finance (planning / Monthly linearity / GTN execution).
    • Co-ordinate with internal teams for the Supply forecast & time-to-market optimization.
    • Be responsible for all the Sell out activities and stocks
    • Quarterly/monthly/weekly planning & execution

Business Development:

  • Relationship building with key T1s, BP’s: Providing them with market feedback, organizing required product trainings.
  • Co-ordinate with Sales teams to sync programs and campaign plans on customer level
  • Co-ordinate with marketing on brand development instore visibility/POS improvement & promotion; and On-line
  •  Engage and expand our channel coverage
  •  Take ownership for line up and product content set up in the online channel. Specific quarterly execution of
  • RTM analyzes - key channel development, Lenovo share within channel actual & plan
  • NPI & deployment
  • QBR with key partners 
  • Interlock with sales teams - CON / SMB / REL - SI/STI/SO, share of wallet update, key opportunities, customer feedback

Specific monthly execution of:

  • Prepare Price & heat map check vs competition
  • Distributors & Key partners visits
  • Mx interlock with Sales & Finance
  • GtN check with Finance & Sales
  • Interlock with marketing team - promotion results, share of space update, promoter feedback
  • BMS call alignment with Sales Leaders & Finance
