Description and Requirements
WW Business Manager will be responsible for extracting actionable inputs to regions from various sources, including Finance reports, Power BI, and DIAS, to provide business recommendation that supports decision-making across SSG E-Commerce. Your insights will be shared with stakeholders like the SSG segments VP, E-Commerce SSG Director, Business Managers, Category Teams, and management, helping to translate data into actionable business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring & Analyzing E-Commerce KPIs:
- Track and analyze both leading and lagging indicators of SSG e-commerce performance, including metrics such as bookings, penetration rate (pen rate), $/CA, AR (average revenue), AUR (average unit retail), hardware attach rate decline, POS attach, APOS, ESS, and services offering.
- Provide regular insights into these metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Website Traffic and Conversion Analysis:
- Analyze website traffic, conversion rates, hardware attach rates, promotional impact, PSD (Product Sales Data), ESS (Enhanced Services Sales), and warranty terms to pinpoint opportunities for optimization.
- Identify key areas for improvement in target audience, acquisition strategies, user behavior, UX (user experience), UI (user interface), and conversion rates to enhance the SSG e-commerce performance.
Transforming Data into Operational Insights:
- Convert raw e-commerce data (including Finance scorecard, BI dashboards) into actionable, operational insights for the SSG HQ team, enabling them to make informed decisions and improve business outcomes.
Competitor & Market Research:
- Conduct research on competitors, alternative markets, and new opportunities in the e-commerce space to stay ahead of industry trends and inform strategy development. So, provide insights on how SSG can stay competitive, find new opportunities, and refine its strategies based on external market trends and competitor activities.
Brainstorming and Idea Generation:
- Brainstorm and collaborate with internal teams on new ideas to improve and transform the overall SSG e-commerce strategy on the web.
Insight Delivery & Market trend analysis to SSG Leadership:
- Prepare and deliver biweekly reports through PowerPoint presentations, summarizing key performance trends, insights, and areas for action.
- Share market trends and strategic insights once a quarter to provide a broader view of the competitive landscape and evolving e-commerce opportunities.
Advisory Role for Business Stakeholders:
- Act as an advisor to business managers and segment managers on key SSG e-commerce related matters, offering insights and guidance on how to improve business strategies, optimize performance, and align with e-commerce best practices.
Key Tools and Techniques:
- Data Analytics & Visualization: Power BI, Excel, Vivian’s Scorecard, and other e-commerce analytics tools for real-time reporting, KPI tracking, and insights generation.
- Website Analytics: Google Analytics, Heatmaps (e.g., Hotjar), A/B Testing tools, and e-commerce platform analytics (e.g., Shopify, Magento).
- Competitor & Market Research: Tools like SEMrush, SimilarWeb, and industry-specific reports to track competitive trends and emerging opportunities.
Goals and Impact:
- Provide clear, actionable data insights to optimize SSG’s e-commerce strategy.
- Help improve user experience and conversion rates by identifying and acting on key performance gaps.
- Support data-driven decision-making with high-quality, timely reports and actionable recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and performance reporting.
- Proficiency in PowerBI, Excel, and other data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in eCommerce or related industry.
- Familiarity with business metrics
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with flexible workhours
