As part of the WW SMB & Channel DaaS (Device as a Service) team, The Device as a Service SMB & Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for the SMB & Channel Marketing of our expanding Device as a Service portfolio through our Distributors, SMB & Channel Partners.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and the execution of the WW Device as a Service (DaaS) SMB & Channel Marketing strategy in cooperation with WW Regions SMB & Channel Marketing teams with Lenovo’s regional and local SMB & Channel Marketing teams.

You will need to demonstrate the ability to take initiative and provide leadership in a growing business across local and International markets. You will need to have a successful track record of marketing services and solutions that enable or enhance a PC hardware sale. You will champion the innovative power of our Device as a Service Proposition to support SMB & Channel Partners making companies more productive, collaborative and transformative. You will need to understand Lenovo’s portfolio of award-winning products and develop strategies to help online, new and existing SMB & Channel Partners market the Lenovo DaaS Proposition.

In this role, you will report to Director- Global Channels and SMB- DaaS.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and execute an effective Marketing strategy to achieve sales goals for SMB & Channel to meet sales objectives
  • To develop and manage quarterly marketing planning cycles for Distribution, SMB and Channel
  • Delivery of the quarterly marketing planning cycles with regional & local marketing teams.
  • Device as a Service Copy writing, editing, creative input and design briefing
  • Develop relationships and serve as a trusted consultant to Lenovo’s WW, regional SMB & Channel Teams
  • Understand and adapt to Lenovo’s ongoing product and services developments and how to incorporate them into an “as a Service” model messaging
  • Support sales objectives for Lenovo while driving growth across local and International IT Markets
  • Communication and alignment with teams on Marketing Activities and results
  • Ensure that our Distribution SMB & Channel Partners receive world-class marketing and customer service


Position Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional work experience
  • 3+ years of successful SMB & Channels Channel Marketing experience is required
  • SMB & Channel experience in IT Services Industry focused on PC’s & Services
  • Demonstrated track record of high performance in Global or Regional IT Channel position
  • In depth knowledge of “as a Service” models
  • In depth knowledge of “modern marketing techniques” and tools
  • Proven success in building new businesses in the IT services industry
  • Strategic mindset and sound business acumen are required, along with effective decision making, and marketing management skills
  • Excellent communication, both oral and written, and strong presentation skills
  • Strong prioritization skills, attention to detail, commitment to deadlines
  • Proven ability to operate with a high level of professionalism, entrepreneurialism and agility
  • Demonstrated ability to work across all levels of the organization with a teaming attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Travel estimated at 50%


Preferred Requirements:

  • Consumption based Marketing experience in SaaS (Software as a Service), DaaS (Device as a Service) or Cloud Services
  • Understanding of Subscription/Lease financial solutions
  • Developing campaigns that help Distributors and Partners transform to the As a service business model
  • Bi Lingual
