Description and Requirements
This Business Manager position will support the WW (World Wide) Commercial business for LA geo . This position reports into WW Commercial Business Management organization but is strongly aligned to the Geo, Product operations, Strategy & Partner programs team. This is a fast-paced role for someone who has strong business, strategic and communication skills.
Planning, Execution & Reporting of Commercial Segment business priorities to deliver our ASP business contribution to Lenovo
- View the business from >18 month, 6-12 month, and <6month planning horizon
- Build and execute a Quarterly Business Planning Cycle with LA
- Drive In-Quarter Business Performance, Actions, and Corrective Actions to achieve the targets
- Lead New Opportunities via Assessment, Planning, and Management to drive growth
- Execute the Strategic Investment Pipeline, Progression and fund management
- Build and Deliver Cross-Business Line Strategic Priorities & Growth Initiatives, including Services, Solutions, Alliance funds, Core engine (Notebook/Desktop/Workstation/Accessories/Visuals)
- Assess markets and segments to drive business growth in key areas and oversee programs & operations to support marketing and sales initiatives.
- React under pressure to urgent requests for market information, including intelligence on competitor actions, customer profitability and business health… while building the data and analytic capabilities to enable faster reaction and greater insights
- Communicate regularly with Geo team & WW executive leadership team to ensure alignment on key priorities and tracking of strategic growth focus areas
- Take ownership of specific worldwide projects designed to achieve strategic goals, efficiencies and drive additional revenue and profit
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Extensive experience in IT product strategy development
- Managed operational planning.
- Good oral and written communication skills (Advanced English mandatory)
- Strong analytical skills
- Great management of negotiations skills
