Description and Requirements

As the WW SMB Services Offering Manager, you will be responsible for productizing relevant lifecycle services to help SMB customers support, configure, deploy, and manage their businesses.  You will own the e2e portfolio and will engage across the Lenovo Geographies to create standardized, scalable, and repeatable service offerings and processes which fully support customer requirements. This role will lead others through strong thought leadership practices and will create a strategic vision, roadmap and execution plan utilizing the most effective methodologies available.

  • You should have proven and demonstrative offering development experience preferably with a background in Services (GSI’s) and channel partner experience in the areas of hardware and software deployment. You will need to demonstrate technical competence and will use data and analytical insights to ideate, and validate the design, price, and launch offerings which will resonate widely with our customers.
  • You will have an inquisitive and objective challenger mindset and will optimize/craft their portfolio in a considered manner. You will need leverage strong subject matter and industry expertise.
  • You will create effective value-based storytelling narratives to test ideas with customers through rapid MVP or prototyping. You will negotiate, monitor, and agree to offer penetration and sales targets and will continually assess effectiveness and bridge plans where required. You will consider roadmap enhancements as well as end-of-life plans where required and will be expected to manage accordingly.
  • Success requires the ability to influence and maintain open communication with all areas of the company, including worldwide hardware business units, geo/country service sales & marketing teams, and technical service delivery teams. You must be able to manage complexity, think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to work with and influence a variety of WW stakeholders to drive transformational projects.

Your Key Responsibilities will be: 

  • Services Offering Cycle (OLC) Management:  Manage the entire service life cycle from ideation, and strategic planning to tactical activities for the assigned service product lines cradle to grave
  • Designing a service solution or triggering a new service model based on product specifications and brand to meet customer requirements
  • Evaluate Lenovo’s existing capabilities to deliver on the required service and identify additional investment needs based on gaps
  • Conduct competitive analysis to determine service offer features & pricing strategy, including key processes and resources
  • Analyze potential service partner relationships and develop long-term strategic requirements to support assigned services and solutions
  • Develop and maintain consistent communication and relationships with key extended teams including regional Services teams, Services Delivery, Corporate Marketing and PC hardware product teams
  • Work with the Services Marketing organization to provide content for marketing deliverables
  • Proactive collaboration across Lenovo to create extensible and valued offering blocks
  • Be the SME and voice of the SMB Offering organization and widely socialize progress


  • Formal certification in Offering Management methodologies (OLCM / PLCM)
  • SaFe aware/certified
  • 7+ years of IT technical experience and/or PC Services experience
  • Strong executive presence & leadership skills
  • A high level of communication & presentation skills required
  • A collaborative approach to meeting business objectives
  • Ability to influence at all levels of matrixed organizations and achieve successful outcomes
  • Experience working within global ‘matrix’ teams and conducting business internationally
