Description and Requirements
Lenovo is seeking a Web Development Marketing Intern to assist in the development and update of web page design for the Lenovo Legal Team's intranet site. Candidate will be responsible for creating content and designing landing pages for various legal areas within Lenovo's internal legal team. The candidate will not solely be responsible for creating content, but will also be responsible for designing the web pages that deliver this content and working with Legal team colleagues to incorporate their content into your visual design and layout. You will also be responsible to test the sites for functionality and user experience.
Preferred locations include the Raleigh, NC area or the Chicago, IL area. The intern’s work (like the rest of the US-based legal team) will be 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. This is a paid position working 40 hours per week for the period of the internship.
Requirements
- Experience with web development using SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, WordPress, Elementor, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, content management systems (CMS), or other design software to create marketing materials, graphics, and communications.
- Experience with web content creation and the design and layout of web pages.
- A strong understanding of design principles and user-centered design.
- Understanding of design and web development terms and trends
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a similar field of study
