Description and Requirements


Can you help us solve complex challenges? Do you enjoy everyday communication with the customers? Lenovo is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Workplace Solutions Technologist to support Account Managers in our Enterprise, Public Sector and Channel Sales teams  in all presales activities.

You will work proactively with the most senior decision makers and our most senior internal stakeholders to ensure the appropriate portfolio of Lenovo products, services and software is architected to solve the complex business challenges our clients face and to close sales opportunities. 

What tasks are waiting for you in this role? 

·       Work closely with Account Managers in our Enterprise, Public Sector & Channel sales teams to qualify opportunities, to provide solutions to close revenue generating opportunities. 

·       Be the single point of contact for Account Executives, SMEs and other specialists in support of sales opportunities. 

·       Ensure the quality of the presales deliverables (presentation, demonstrations, etc. in tandem with sales teams. 

·       Demonstrate value to customers of a solution approach with clear articulation of ROI and business case. 

·       Champion the customer by helping to educates sellers on customer situations, and the optimal solution to deliver desired outcomes. 

What do we expect from you? 

·       7+ years of experience working in or with technology leaders/senior decision makers in solving technology challenges and influencing decisions on workplace requirements 

·       A good working knowledge of the range of broader solutions, and how they relate to customer's requirements, eg. Services/Infrastructure/Meetingrooms/Smartphones

·       You have high proficiency in executive level communication 

·       You have a track record of establishing credibility with the most senior decision makers and influencers in IT 

·       You have the ability to inspire others to achieve a common objective and superior time management skills 

·       You have high levels of business acumen and the ability to apply critical thinking in identifying value propositions for clients
