Description and Requirements

The Lenovo Cloud and Software team is responsible for developing a complete software portfolio for our Small Business routes to market. Our product line comes to a reality through both in-house development and collaboration with third party software partners.

We are looking for an experienced leader to manage this segment and related software partners. This role has a mix of responsibilities including ongoing Portfolio Planning and leadership at the portfolio level. This role requires a close partnership with our internal development team, procurement, third party partners, services, and sales leadership. The role will lead business stakeholders in collaboration on strategic and tactical product planning, and overall product delivery. This position requires strong capability in building a complete portfolio.

As the Portfolio Leader you will review the existing portfolio, identify strengths and opportunities, and work with third party providers and/or internal product engineering to bring products forward that compete with a mix of value, cost, and product differentiation in the market. · Leads annual operational and financial planning and quarterly forecasting efforts for our Small Business Software portfolio.

· Close collaboration with sales, channel sales, service, ecommerce, and development business stakeholders on what new capabilities are required to address market opportunities through various routes to market.

· Driving requirements into development to enable product cost estimation and capacity planning for product engineering teams who will assist in portfolio realization.

· Develops and maintains a portfolio roadmap that illustrates in-flight and planned products for the portfolio, highlighting known product dependencies and synergies within the products.

· Oversees tactical planning and day-to-day management of the product portfolio, including portfolio financials and prioritization.

· Maintains a deep level understanding in the Small Business Software space, with ability to work heavily with field sales and ecommerce teams.

· Provides feedback, coaching and guidance to third-party partners, Lenovo development, Services, and Sales to drive realization of products.

· Drive the business management system around the assigned software product category, tracking key KPI’s, holding portfolio reviews with partners, and supporting our sales arm in hitting WW sales targets for the product category.

Leadership:

· Lead vision for the assigned product category across all levels and divisions of the organization.

· Builds a high performing portfolio by establishing strong third-party partnerships, strong internal development collaboration, and setting clear expectations for both, holding them accountable to their commitments, and fostering growth.

· Responsible for setting goals for the category, developing organizational capability, and modeling how we work in developing and deploying products through Lenovo’s multiple indirect and direct channels.

· Leads by example – with compassion, courage, consistency and confidence and a strong sense of commitment and collaboration.

· Seeks and provides honest, transparent feedback.

· Drives decision-making that favors compromise and alignment over consensus-building.
