The Global e-commerce organization is embarking on a multi-year strategy to (1) transform our platform to a cloud-hosted, container- based micro-service architecture and (2) expand offerings across customer segments of B2C, SMB, and B2B, product units of PC, Smart Devices, Mobile, and Data Center, and channels of marketplace, third-party offerings, and subscription services. Lenovo Global eCommerce platform has omnichannel eCommerce capabilities and supports both B2C and B2B over 100 countries with billions of dollars in annual revenue. Enabling multiple business models like SMB, Loyalty, Marketplace, 3PO, Gaming, etc. Integrated with more than 25 payments all over the world, for instance, Credit, PayPal, Amazon, etc. Empower businesses to achieve revenue growth year by year.

Job Responsibilities

  • Learn and master existing platform knowledge both business and technologyand have the responsibility to cultivate team capabilities.
  • Responsible for eCommerce platform IT solution and development; Enhance and deliver new features. Research and fix Production issues.
  • Make sure features be delivered on schedule with high quality. Write unit test and automated functional test for a feature.
  • Work closely with backend engineers to make sure E2E solution seamless and appropriate customer experience for features.
  • Closely work and collaborate with Product Owner and Scrum master.
  • Support projects to develop and launch eCommerce front web application.
  • Works with business team and business transformation in the supporting process, operations and business objectives for the eCommerce web user experience.
  • Coordinates knowledge base, identified pervasive technical issues with team members.
  • Supports to implement and deploy eCommerce front web solution for worldwide successfully.

Conditions of employment

  • Computer or related major, bachelor degree or above.
  • Key developer of web storefront UI is a must.
  • 2 years+ frontend development experience, proficient in HTML5 / CSS / SCSS / JavaScript basic knowledge, and familiar with their derived popular frameworks. Familiar with responsive layout design experience.
  • Vue.js, React, Node.js, etc. development experience is preferred.
  • Skilled in writing CSS3 code, suitable for PC, Mobile, Tablet terminals 
  • Familiar with Webpack.
  • Experience in Redis, MongoDB, RDBMS is plus.
  • Familiar with object-oriented programming, with good programming style, habits and knowledge of software development process, experience in the MVC mode for global web development is preferred.
  • Have experience in developing large-scale, high performance, high availability online system, eCommerce related experience is a big plus.
