Description and Requirements

As the eCommerce Trading Manager, your primary role is to develop and deliver a fully aligned assortment ("line-up") plan for the portfolio. Working with critical stakeholders, you will assess the historical, current and future potential performance based on influencers such as product mix, price band mix, promotional impact, as well as the mix of customised vs standard specifications, market brand preferences and premiums, online exclusivity opportunities, bundling opportunities, segment targeting opportunities, and more, in order to determine a defined and aligned assortment line up, by day/week/campaign period, to support the go-to-market plans for the Portfolio Manager (PM).

These are your detailed responsibilities:
• For example, as an output, you will deliver detailed plans, part-number specific, to enable the execution of final product page and deals-page line-up’s for any given period, whether "business-as-usual" or for a line-up against a specific planned campaign. Although pricing and promotions of the assortment will be determined by campaign managers and local Online Sales Managers (OSM), your opinion will be important.
• Collaboration is crucial to the role - where alignment with local 4P team members is essential to optimize channel harmony. Specifically, your role will be to build an assortment through concurrent planning across channel & eCommerce - where this role is explicitly running web assortment decisions in parallel with and in close collaboration with local 4P (as opposed to separately). Strong support will be provided for product and assortment recommendations from the EMEA Online global product management team - who will share details on new products planned, portfolio expectations, regional & market opportunities.
• You will also have support from another part of the Online team who will define campaign themes and tactical promotion periods ahead of time, to enable you to match required line-up to optimize performance any given campaign.
• And finally, there will be plenty of data and analytical support from other team members in the Online team to help ensure the best decisions are date-driven and appropriate.
• Deliver a high-level framework for product assortment for each of the five markets. Within this framework, and aligning to the agreed Campaign Plan for each market, develop a detailed Part Number line-up definition that will drive optimal business performance
• The role is focused on in-advance/quarter-out planning
• Develop an optimal mix of Series, Sub-Series, exclusives, bundles, different price band mix to optimize revenue and profitability.
• Collaboration with merchandising and marketing teams to ensure optimal representation of product portfolio on site (i.e. making sure merchandising and marketing are continually reflecting the best of what is available online, e.g. exclusive products, new product launches etc)
• Work with Global CoE team to understand the broader opportunities from new products, supply & inventory insight by sub-series and component part (e.g. AMD vs Intel, one type of panel vs another) - and to better define a relevant assortment for each market that will likely drive optimal sales in any defined campaign period
• Work with EMEA Campaign coordinator (in the Segment team) who will define the optimal campaign plan across 10 countries in EMEA. Ensure that the assortment / portfolio promotions align to that Campaign Plan in final execution to drive optimal business performance
• On all the above - work under the guidance of the local OSM and OSM Leadership to drive effective definition and guidance of the best possible portfolio to hit the required sales targets

Position Requirements

• English, fluent
• 3 to 5 years ecommerce experience a strong plus
• Strong organizational skills - you will need to be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritizing and delivering to commitments
• Ability to manage priorities in a demanding environment - Sound ability to meet demanding, evolving and potentially overlapping deadlines
• Good problem solving skills - We often face new and novel demands and opportunities that need executing with the available resources
• Good Excel Skills (e.g. basic formula and Pivot Table) - We are data orientated and take action based on validated, well presented data
• Good attention to detail
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Experience working with stakeholders across various levels, functions and countries
• Understanding of Online Environment & Web platforms (e.g. SAP/Hybris) desirable
• Product/Placement/Price/Promotion (4P) experience & Sales Experience desirable

Base gross monthly salary from minimum 1500 EUR and above, depending on experience + variable part 12% of your annual earnings
