Description and Requirements

We are looking for a Solutions Architect Networking Specialist to support the sales team by providing expert-level technical assistance throughout the sales process of IT infrastructure solutions, with a specific focus on networking technologies. The professional will be responsible for understanding customer needs, designing networking solutions, conducting presentations and demos, and ensuring that proposals meet both technical and commercial expectations.

Representative Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships with a focus on networking solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving growth in assigned accounts.
• Lead account planning and opportunity identification with a focus on networking solutions; conduct opportunity prioritization.
• Identify and resolve complex networking problems; collaborate with other teams to generate and coordinate solutions.
• Design, implement, and configure complex network architectures (LAN, WAN, VPN, etc.) tailored to customer needs.
• Provide expert-level assistance in integrating networking solutions into broader IT infrastructure projects.

Interaction

• Leverage strong networking knowledge to build customer relationships and understand their business goals and objectives.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members and collaborate closely with sales and engineering teams to deliver customized networking solutions.
• Adapt communications and approaches to negotiate with multiple stakeholders, ensuring consensus on networking requirements and solutions.

Problem Solving

• Analyze new networking situations; anticipate potential problems and future trends in networking technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve complex networking issues, ensuring solutions are scalable and secure.
• Apply creativity and technical judgment to develop innovative networking solutions for various customer environments.

Experience Requirements:

• Proven experience in networking technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, SD-WAN).
• Deep knowledge of network security, including firewall configuration, intrusion detection, and prevention.
• Hands-on experience with networking hardware and software configurations (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
• Ability to design and present complex networking solutions to diverse clients.
• Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to translate technical networking needs into accessible language for customers.
• Experience with cloud networking solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) and how they integrate with network infrastructures.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams to create end-to-end networking solutions.
• Certifications in networking (e.g., Cisco CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA) are highly desirable.
• Prior experience in a networking-focused role, such as network engineer or solutions architect, is a plus.

Differentials:

• Knowledge of advanced cloud networking technologies (AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, Google Cloud Interconnect).
• Experience in SDN (Software-Defined Networking) and network automation.
• Expertise in network performance monitoring and optimization.
• Experience with networking for enterprise environments and multi-site deployments.
• Knowledge of High-Performance Computing (HPC) solutions and how they integrate with network infrastructures to optimize performance in demanding environments.

Typical Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with large experience.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
