Descrição e requisitos

Position Description

Lenovo is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Storage Technical Solutions Sales Specialist for Lenovo’s SDI/HCI (Software Defined Storage/Hyperconverged Infrastructure) storage portfolio. As an SDI/HCI pre-sales specialist in Lenovo’s datacenter group, you will collaborate with others in promoting Lenovo ISG solutions and products. You will employ your interpersonal skills with CTOs, IT decision makers, Lenovo pre-sales and sales teams, with Lenovo partners and ISVs to bring value to our customers. Your objectives will be in the development of Lenovo’s data center opportunities through the sales cycle, from understanding customer business and technical requirements, building the solution architecture and bringing the opportunity up to a closing by demonstrating customer value. You will be also leading in the enablement our data center partners, preparing RFI and RFP responses, presenting solutions and carrying out proofs of concept.

Roles & Responsibilities

·         Develop an exhaustive understanding of what drives a customer’s business and what motivates their decision making

·         Defining and identifying Data Management projects (on-prem, hybrid cloud and in public cloud) by acting as a trusted advisor to the allocated territory coverage

·         Developing a pipeline of new SDI/HCI (Software Defined Storage/Hyperconverged Infrastructure) business within aligned territories

·         Passionately bring to light the advantages of a Lenovo SDI/HCI solutions

·         Growing and maintaining customer relationships to technical team level and above. 

·         Keeping customers and partners up to date with new technologies and innovations relevant to their industry

·         Identifying customer projects and interpreting their technical requirements

·         Have the ability to build effective and valuable solutions working with the wider specialist product and technical community, sales teams and business partners as appropriate to support winning the business. 

·         Lead and/or provide Technical Input to Tenders/RFI’s/RFP’s

·         Gathers information to develop an accurate understanding of customer technology infrastructure

·         Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations with vigor to customers and lock in the technical win with clients and prospective accounts

·         Delight customers, partners and teammates with your technical leadership and domain expertise on SDI/HCI, and competitive storage offerings

·         Proactively supports the account teams with product advice, presentations, proposal support

·         Move with market trends and competitive landscape to promote thought leadership within our organization

Position Requirements

·         Significant experience supporting enterprise SDI/HCI (Software Defined Storage/Hyperconverged Infrastructure) sales, mainly VMware and Nutanix infrastructure solutions

·         Desirable knowledge of Microsoft Azure, enterprise storage and data protection technologies

·         Thorough understanding of architecture, design, and implementation of modern IT systems and hybrid cloud infrastructures

·         Demonstrate a broad understanding of trends & technologies for SDI/HCI solutions

·         Able to create and present Lenovo sales and technical solutions to senior level clients within the customer and clearly articulate the value proposition to the customer

·         Commercial awareness of the local competitive market, business partner objectives and the customer industry environment, preferably in the storage market/industry

·         Excellent verbal and written communication in Portuguese and English
