Description and Requirements


We are looking for Sales Manager with a passion for both: people management and IT sales.

As the manager of the team for a cluster of key accounts, the Enterprise Sales Manager Retention & Development (Germany South) is responsible for managing the total customer relationship, both directly and through his/her sales team. You and your team are aim to make our customer successful, by representing the full Lenovo portfolio (Datacenter, Service & Workplace).



Your responsibilities in this position:

  • You work in conjunction with the director of Enterprise Germany and Austria and other Relationship Sales professionals (product and solution specialists) to plan and execute an executive relationship strategy.
  • You will maintain a personal relationship with customer's senior management, have a clear vision of customer and LENOVO unit strategies and understands where LENOVO can impact, enhance and complement customers' businesses.
  • You will leverage a deep understanding of the customers' organizations to identify key contacts throughout the organizations and direct the deployment of the rest of the team against particular buyer groups.
  • As a people manager you will provide guidance and counsel to the managed team of Client Managers and Workplace Account Managers, you will ensure the development of the employees, and support your team's creativity, innovation, and implementation of their ideas
  • You will be accountable for all related planning processes such as account planning, opportunity identification, demand planning, outlook forecast planning
  • You will have a profit and loss Responsibility of aligned department


What do you need to succeed in this opportunity:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Sales Manager
  • Comprehensive understanding of sales processes and sales management techniques
  • Professional knowledge of business acumen, including an understanding of the customers' business, industry, economic, market trends, and market  competition
  • Effective channel utilization
  • Knowledge of effective coaching techniques by providing feedback and seeking learning opportunities
  • Ability to clearly define issues, logically identify solutions, and take actions
  • Fluent in German and English language

Your location:
Preferably we are looking for candidates either located close to our office in Stuttgart, where a part of the team is located well, or candidates living close to our customers in this territory for example Frankfurt.
