As the manager of the team for a cluster of key accounts, the Enterprise Sales Manager (Germany South) is responsible for managing the total customer relationship, both directly and through his/her sales team. Works in conjunction with the director of Enterprise/Public Sales Germany and Austria and other Relationship Sales professionals to plan and execute an executive relationship strategy. You will maintain a personal relationship with customer's senior management, have a clear vision of customer and LENOVO unit strategies and understand where LENOVO can impact, enhance, and complement customers' businesses. You will leverage a deep understanding of the customers' organizations to identify key contacts throughout the organizations and direct the deployment of the rest of the team against particular buyer groups. As a people manager, you will provide guidance and counsel to the managed team of Key Account Manager and Inside Account Manager.
Position can be either Band 8 or 9, depending on the candidates experience. Work location in Essen or Stuttgart (Mobile).
In addition to the above-mentioned, following are the responsibilities of yours in this position:
- Accountability for all related planning processes such as account planning, opportunity identification, demand planning, outlook forecast planning
- To plan, facilitate, and conduct complex negotiations with various partners
- Profit and loss Responsibility of aligned department
- To ensure, your team understands how their work contributes to LENOVO's strategy, market success, and organization's goals
- To lead by example and set clear performance standards, ensure a positive performance climate
- Encouragement of employees' innovation, support, and implementation of their ideas
- Continuous development of the employees to build a strong team
What do you need to succeed in this opportunity:
- 7 - 9+ years experience as a Sales Manager
- Comprehensive understanding of sales processes and sales management techniques
- Professional knowledge of business acumen, including an understanding of the customers' business, industry, economic, market trends, and market competition
- Effective channel utilization
- Knowledge of effective coaching techniques by providing feedback and seeking learning opportunities
- Ability to clearly define issues, logically identify solutions, and take actions
- Fluent in German and English language
