Description and Requirements

Job Overview:   

Lenovo seeks a Legal Matter Management and E-billing System Specialist to join its growing team in Mexico. This resource will play a critical role in development or workflows to support the Legal Department’s implementation of a matter management tool, creation and maintenance of system workflows, roles, data elements, and user training, communication, and support.

Job Responsibilities (Essential functions and duties): 
 

Support system administration tasks for the Matter Management System which includes:

  • Working with the software vendor in the support of issue resolution, maintenance of user functions and workflows
  • Supporting integrating data to and from the system.
  • Support customers in use of tool, including training, use case support question and issue resolution, and confirm system data quality.
  • Support of process dashboards.
  • Perform testing of new enhancements and document process updates for end users.
  • Support of system administration processes including system e Billing routes, default matter management types, interface APIs to finance and HR systems Support and
  • Utilize other Legal Operations tools as needed such as SharePoint sites and web tools, Chatbot Q&A input and testing, Tableau and Catalyst for eBilling (Bodhala), and other applications that allow Legal users to interact with the Legal team more effectively.

Basic Job Requirements: 

  • Prior work experience 5-7 years total
    • 7 years of relevant experience with data and IT systems analysis in a fast-paced corporate Legal or IT department, or as a systems administrator or manager of other similar business applications
    • Customer System Support experience – 3-4 years
    • System Training experience – 2-4 year
    • System Process Documentation and Support – 1-3 years
    • Experience participating in the implementation of a Matter Management system
    • Working with vendor and financial data interfaces
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies (KSAC’s) 
    • API support
    • System Administration capabilities
    • Excel capabilities (Spreadsheet tracking, pivot tables, data analysis)
    • SharePoint capabilities
    • Tableau Capabilities
    • Process Flow charts and word documentation for processes.
    • Project coordination – task planning
    • Demonstrated ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
    • Demonstrated capability to work with external and internal support personnel on projects and issues resolution

Bachelors

    • Less than 10%
       
  • Language
    • Expert fluency – English, multi- language fluency is desired.

Preferred Requirements

  • Other legal systems – 2 years preferred.
  • Legal degree and industry experience as an attorney preferred.
  • Exposure to project and process management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, MS task planner) and familiarity with scrum and agile project methodologies
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience with data and IT systems analysis in a fast-paced corporate Legal or IT department, or as a systems administrator or manager of other similar business applications
    * Experience with data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) is required
    * Expert use of Excel is required
    * Demonstrated capability to perform data analytics on large data sets
    * Demonstrated effective interpersonal interaction in a highly customer-satisfaction focused environment
    * Developed critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills, with a willingness to get into the details of complex problems and drive creative solutions
    * Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
    * A strong team player who can work well with colleagues in all functional groups
    * Committed to his/her personal growth and development by actively seeking feedback and responding with constructive action
