About the Position
Our AI Infrastructure & Cloud Services Technology and Services Division (TSD) is growing its presence at our second global HQ site in Morrisville, NC. We’re looking for a Senior Network Engineer with experience handling global network operations. This position is hybrid at our Morrisville site 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the swift resolution of network issues and prompt communication to cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions are delivered effectively
- Serve as a team member supporting global networking and operations
- Provide network operations support and service to both internal and external customers, ensuring stakeholders at all levels receive the correct service
- Design, document and deliver efficient and reliable campus network solutions
- Support the design, documentation and delivery of a reliable global network architecture, ensuring complex network issues are resolved effectively
- Collaborate with Automation team to provide technical documentations to drive automation delivery
- Continuously optimize network performance to ensure stability and security
- Ensure network stability and security
- Provide detailed and timely documentation, ensuring accessibility across the organization
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
- 7+ years of global Network Operations Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of Global Network Operations Experience
- 5+ years of Experience supporting Multinational Networking Projects
- Hands-on with Network Protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, Wireless
- Hands-on with Network Devices: routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers
- Hands-on with Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet or F5 network products
- Experience delivering network automations on a cross-functional team
- Experience utilizing and implementing AI tools and automations
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Outstanding stakeholder, partner, and vendor management skills
- Cultural Competency working across Chinese, American, Desi, European, and South American cultural contexts, ensuring messages are communicated with clarity and tact
- Certifications a plus (CCNP)
- Bilingual skillset in Mandarin and English a plus
The base salary budgeted range for this position is $100-135k. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. This position is hybrid 3 days per week at our Morrisville, NC location.
