Description and Requirements
As the Accessories BDM you will be the ‘face’ of Lenovo Accessories in Benelux, as well as the local market expert for this category. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy across all customer segments (Consumer, SMB and Enterprise/ Public sector). In addition, you will nurture and develop the partner ecosystem (distributors, key retail, e-tail & commercial resellers) to support the sales organization. In collaboration with the Benelux category management, business management and marketing teams you will prepare the sales plans and drive execution.
You will report to the SMB & Channel Sales Leader and will have a close interlock with Market Segment Leaders, Benelux General Manager, Business & Product Management Leader, the EMEA Accessories team.
This makes you an essential and highly visible team member across the organization!
Your detailed responsibilities are:
- Help the Category Manager in building the designated product portfolio end-to-end- from market introduction through to EOL
- Collaborate with the sales teams to support the Category Manager on product offerings, price setting, inventory management and promotions
- Support Product Portfolio Management to drive sustainable market share growth in line with Lenovo's financial targets
- Prepare quarterly sales-in/sales-out planning in cooperation with the distribution and channel team
- Determine customer needs through participation in Sales & Customer meetings, you recommend and position appropriate product to customers
- Have a retail customer strategy aided by 4P portfolio play.
- Driving channel depth and breadth via dedicated initiatives and activities.
- Giving guidance + expertise to relationship sales, be the in house point of contact for stirring tenders.
- Support by expertise and trainings for mid market, REL and channel sales teams.
- Leverage activities across the profit pools to enable solution selling.
Requirements:
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience in Accessories business;
- Proven Product Marketing and Business Development experience with budget, P&L & market share responsibility;
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships;
- Commercial agility who acts with speed and a sense of urgency(!);
- Detailed insight into business analytics, data driven and fact based;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Dutch;
- Extensive route-to-market experience, End-user, channel & retail;
