Description and Requirements

About Our Team

Lenovo is expanding the team and seeking a Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Test Development Engineer. You will be responsible for the definition, development, and management of test code and utilities that are incorporated into the manufacturing test process for Hyperscale servers and rack products manufactured by Lenovo. 


Location: Morrisville, NC (hybrid, 3 days on-site/2 days remote)


What You'll Do

• Design, write, validate, and maintain processes and code for automating the manufacturing test process

• Integrate these solutions into our test platform application for deployment into production

• Define test strategies for these products to ensure maximum commonality and optimal performance on the manufacturing line

• Work with Hardware and Software Development Engineers and external partners to build custom processes as required


Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience

• Scripting experience with Python, Java and/or Rest API

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

• Experience with code versioning and tracking systems (CVS, git, SVN)


Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science

• Python 3.x preferred

• Hardware background and experience with storage enclosures and expansion units and storage media

• Experience with manufacturing test process development and deployment

• Experience with root cause analysis & problem resolution 

• Ability to travel 20% to manufacturing and customer sites
