What You’ll Do:
The Director of Sales – Canadian Solution provider Channel is responsible for management of a team of outbound and inside sales professionals who support a defined group of national business partner accounts. At Lenovo, we strive to put more innovation in the hands of more people so they can do more amazing things. That is why we are looking for a highly dynamic individual with strong relationship, planning, sales, and negotiation skills to accelerate the growth of our Canadian channel business. In this key leadership role, you will collaborate with stakeholders from across North America including category, marketing, sales, and operations to develop strategies and plans that drive successful outcomes for Lenovo and our partners. Your leadership responsibilities will include talent development, demand generation & sales management activities, as well as the execution of Lenovo’s strategic initiatives through the distribution channel. The Director of Sales – Canadian Solution Provider Channel holds key relationships with all levels of sales and management within the assigned business partner organizations. The ability to foster a high- performance team with a strong cultural foundation will be critical to your success.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of sales experience (Channel and IT sales preferred)
- Bachelors or equivalent degree
- Demonstrated ability to engage with and influence C-level executives
- Consistently exceeds quota and key performance metrics
- Experience working with partners (i.e. Distribution, Channel, VAR, MSP, SI, ISV, OEM, Telco, etc.) to accelerate overall business outcomes
- Demonstrated success as a strategic thought leader
- Fluency in English
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership or management experience
- Knowledge and relationships within the Canadian ICT channel ecosystem
- Excellent communication skills including presentations
- Proven ability to successfully plan, prioritize, collaborate and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- French fluency
