Description and Requirements

We are looking for an experienced sales executive to join the Cloud Software Sales Organization focused on building a team to continue and accelerate the success of the Lenovo/Igel partnership and our thin client sales efforts. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment. This person should be passionate about creating processes to sell solutions to mid and large businesses and have a proven track record of closing opportunities that have thin client and/or Igel software as part of the overall solution. 

As the Igel Sales Team Lead your job is to help build and train a team that engages new customer accounts, uncovers their needs, and guide them through the buying process independent of hardware or services sales. You will also be tasked with leading the efforts to sell into existing accounts with a team that is a sales resource to our hardware sales organization. Your role will include key hiring decisions, training sales resources, managing and improving pipeline tracking and accuracy, and will be critical in helping us improve our sales processes and motions in all GEOs where Igel is sold.   


RESPONSIBILITIES   

  • Assist in building team and leading sales training efforts as it pertains to Igel and products that support our Igel sales motion. This will include both field and inside sales resources focused on selling Igel 
  • Build relationships with Lenovo hardware sales leadership to penetrate accounts where there is a software component of the sale, or where new software sales opportunities exist 
  • Develop expertise in Igel software solutions to effectively manage larger opportunities with your team while managing resources from smaller and/or transactional opportunities 
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle across Igel pipeline and build accurate forecasting methodology 
  • Prioritize workload to meet all KPI’s, goals, and sales objectives  

  

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS 

Required: 

  • Bachelors Degree or commensurate experience  
  • Experience presenting and demonstrating Igel and thin client hardware/software solutions to customers, IT staff, and senior management with a demonstrable track record of closing large opportunities 
  • Demonstrated success building process to improve all stages of the sales funnel from prospecting to closing 


Preferred: 

  • 3-5 years of proven, sales experience in software sales role focused on selling thin client and cloud-based software solutions in the VDI space 
  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills (English) 
  • Self-directed with a track record or meeting or exceeding assigned team quotas 
  • This position is fully remote, but may require up to 20% travel  

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $110,000 - 135,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com.
