Description and Requirements

Lenovo's Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) is seeking an experienced Global Project Management Director to lead the critical positioning of Lenovo as a leader in liquid-cooled infrastructure solutions. This leadership role will assume key project responsibilities ensuring the achievement of milestone targets in line with our market leadership goals. Reporting to senior ISG leadership, the successful candidate will navigate complex operational, strategic, and cross-functional tasks to drive sustainable growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management Oversight:

  • Provide regular status updates on project milestones and alignment with high-level goals.
  • Maintain alignment sessions with senior leadership and workstream leads to promote seamless execution.

Strategic Goal Execution:

  • Drive the project’s success toward market leadership by focusing on key metrics: market share, revenue growth, operational readiness, customer satisfaction, and strategic partnerships.
  • Track and optimize the project’s critical path, addressing any challenges to ensure on-time milestone delivery.
  • Engage in quarterly updates with internal and external stakeholders, summarizing progress, key learnings, and required adjustments.

Market Leadership Initiatives:

  • Define and manage a roadmap to reach target market share and liquid-cooled solutions deployment.
  • Implement forecast models, sales pipeline targets, and tracking mechanisms, promoting adoption by sales teams through sales tools.
  • Collaborate with Strategy and Finance teams to adjust forecasts and sales targets as needed to reach competitive positioning.

Marketing & Brand Visibility:

  • Lead the development and compilation of marketing collateral, including customer-facing materials and training summaries.
  • Coordinate liquid cooled showcase execution, managing procurement timelines and funding negotiations with partners.
  • Maintain brand presence by ensuring timely and impactful delivery of marketing assets for key industry conferences and events.

Manufacturing & Operational Capacity:

  • Oversee assessments of manufacturing capacity and expansion plans, coordinating with supply chain and senior leadership to secure funding for scaling.
  • Track manufacturing KPIs and determine capacity allocation.
  • Ensure timely approval and implementation of expansion plans to align with projected demands.

Resource Allocation and Expansion:

  • Monitor progress on the recruitment and training of teams across key functions, ensuring alignment with project demands.
  • Develop and lead cross-functional training initiatives to support service delivery and project scale-up.
  • Partner with functional teams to align recruitment with targeted outcomes.

Strategic Partnerships & Deal Execution:

  • Oversee the negotiation and delivery frameworks for contracts with key partners.
  • Ensure manufacturing and service capacity are adequate to support deals, liaising with supply chain and sales teams.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in project management within technology, operations, or infrastructure solutions.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with strategic impact.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of hardware manufacturing, cloud service operations, high-performance computing, and AI infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of synthesizing complex information for diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Experience in building and training teams, and a track record of managing high-stakes vendor and client relationships.
